Day #3437 (Tue., Jun 4, 2019) – Harry Potter Collection
My wife took today off work. She has so much vacation time coming to her, and her boss would rather her not take say every Friday off this summer. This is one of those “one off” vacation days. She took Bobby to the Durham Science Museum so I got a chance to work all day.
My wife met up with Arnesa, Claudia and baby Ayra. A lot of Bobby’s classmates, including Tara, were at the museum as well.
While at the science museum I guess that Bobby wanted to play in the tree house and creek all day. Imagine that… All those technology displays, and even live farm animals, and he would rather play in the things that I used to play in when I was a boy. I guess that boys will be boys.
Katie got a complete set of Harry Potter books this evening (see photo to the left). I read the first one years ago…and maybe a couple more?, but I never did get into them. I told her that the most memorable scene for me in the first book was when they were on the train and trying out the various beans of many flavors…including vomit…
