Day #3497 (Sat., Aug 3, 2019) – Babysitting Guenther & Russell
Guenther and Russell, the neighbor’s kids, came over to play with Bobby this morning. We are taking care of them as their father is going on a race. It didn’t turn out well.
My wife told Guenther that he was to play in our yard and he went back to his house. When my wife tracked him down he locked himself in his car, with Bobby with him. When my wife told them to open up, he would not. Bobby unfortunately didn’t know how to unlock the car.
We had a long talk with Bobby about this incident. Russell will be allowed at our house but not Guenther. Russell is one year younger, but more well behaved than Guenther is.
Remember those “Magic School Bus” activity books (see photo to the right) that we got for Katie? Well, she never was into them much. I found a bunch in the bedroom. Maybe Bobby will want to do them?
