Day #3498 (Sun., Aug. 4, 2019) – No Frozen Yogurt Pop For Bobby
Guenther has taught Bobby how to dig up the yard with a shovel. Well, Bobby tried it this morning and the shovel came up and hit him in the cheek. Lots of crying and hugs and tv, but the “digging up the yard” episode was over…for today…
When Bobby got up from his nap he was very argumentative and disagreeable. He was sneaking around the living room, being very quiet. I suspect that he wanted to go to Guenther’s place. I sat down with him eye-to-eye and had a little conversation…
I asked him why he was disobeying and if he wanted to be a brat. He practically laughed in my face and said that yes, he did… It’s a big joke to him? Well, I told him if you want me to treat you like a brat I will. I told him that brats do not get extra treats, so when I go to Trader Joe’s tonight I will make sure that I get a frozen yogurt pop for all three of us, but none for him. He was very upset…but he’s got to learn.
Well, I did go to Trader Joe’s this evening. I did pick up a package of frozen yogurt pops (see photo to the right). I dutifully handed them to each of us, but none for Bobby. He was very upset, but calmed down after a bit. Hopefully he will learn that he needs to obey us.
