Day #3599 (Wed., Nov. 13, 2019) – Katie On Roller Skates
It was really cold this morning when I bundled Bobby up and took him to preschool. He told me that today was a “Letter Q” day so we ran around the house trying to figure out what started with a “Q”. We even asked Alexa what started with a “Q”. In the end I found a kids playing card that had a picture of a queen on it. Into his backpack for “Show & Tell” today.
He was wearing his Spiderman boots, but by the time we got to the car he said they were too small. I took him back inside and put his sneakers on. I texted my wife this and she was wondering what was up…he wore them yesterday no problem.
Katie told me that she had chicken noodle soup today for lunch. No big deal, she has had chicken noodle soup before. She told me that today it was extra special because it was so cold outside. I told her that mothers used to often give chicken noodle soup to their children when it was cold, or their children were sick. Maybe there is something to that.
Katie has been trying out the roller skates that my wife picked up for her at a consignment sale recently (see photo to the right).
