Day #3707 (Sat., Feb. 29, 2020) – Bobby’s Birthday Party
Arnesa is going to Bosnia tomorrow, so we had Bobby’s birthday party today. We will be having a more “low key” and personal party for Bobby on his actual birthday. Arnesa made a Lego birthday cake.
The kids started arriving at 10 am. It’s funny how these parties never seem to work out like you think they will. We thought that they would be all over the table we set up in the dining room area making Lego “this and that”. Well, they had other plans. The boys ran around in the house for a bit and then went outside for a while. They roamed around our house and then ventured over to Jui-Lan’s house.
The individual size snacks that I picked up at Sam’s Club yesterday were a it, but the boys didn’t even want to stop and take a break and have pizza. They did however take a bit of time off to wish Bobby a Happy Birthday and to cut the cake (see photo to the right).
Bobby got a lot of Lego toys as gifts today. He got a really nice and expensive Lego camper set from Vivian. He also got a great Lego Batman set from Frankie and a wonderful Lego Star Wars set from Claudia.
The kids left after noon, but Guenther stayed at our house for a few more hours to play with Bobby.
I took the Green Screen out and managed to get a bit of video…but as usual, not as much as I thought I would.
My wife took Katie to Chinese class this afternoon. It looks like they might be having future classes via video due to the corona virus outbreak.
