I packed a McDonald’s “napkin” in Bobby’s backpack as it is “N” week at Bobby’s school.
When I picked him up at 1:00 pm he was upset that Graham didn’t want to go to MLK Park. It was raining a bit and Graham doesn’t want to go there in the rain in case he slips. I told Bobby that I had a special present for him at home.
Once we got home I went downstairs and got a shelf from an old bookshelf and put it between two bookshelves in Bobby’s room. Instant desk! I then got the Lego Police Transport Set out and Bobby and I started making it. We built the helicopter first, then the police motorcycle, then the ATV (see photo to the left). This evening we made the 18-wheeler cab. Tomorrow, Bobby’s birthday, we will try to finish the set by building the transport body that the truck cab hooks up to.
Murren came over to our house this evening. Katie and her (mostly my wife) built a Lego display for a presentation tomorrow. Katie borrowed some Lego people from Bobby to put on the display.
