Day #260 (Mon., Sept. 20, 2010) – A New Playmate For Katie?
Little Katie had a long nap today (about 3 hours), so hopefully we won’t need to take her for a drive around the neighborhood tonight.

My wife told me that her friend from New Jersey will be visiting us in a week or so. They have a little girl who is 5 days older than little Katie. Looks like little Katie will have a new playmate that she can show her toys to.
The photo to the right shows the “Koala Chair” that we picked up at the consignment sale last week. Now what child would not want one of those? One of the first things that my wife looked for was the ability to separate the “koala from the chair” so that she could wash it in the washer. I guess she was anticipating that “chipmunk drool” would enter into the equation at some point…
My mother-in-law pointed this out… When little Katie claps she uses the palms of her hands. No longer are the two arms and fists colliding into each other with reckless abandon.
