Day #3931 (Sat., Oct. 10, 2020) – Praying Mantis Prince
Bobby was up at 6am this morning watching television. My wife found him and put him back to bed. He was tired… She started to read a story to him and he was “out” by the time the story was done.
When I got up I made the kids a grilled cheese sandwich for breakfast. This seems to be their “go to meal” in the morning when they are hungry. Bobby was munching on Ritz crackers on LazyBoy so he had some of them as well.
We have been sending the kids to their rooms when they play video games. It’s so much quieter in the living room and we can watch the news in peace and quiet.
There was a praying mantis (or large grasshopper?) on Katie’s window this afternoon (see photo to the left). I told her that it was a prince and she needed to kiss it in order to break the spell. She was having none of it….
