Day #271 (Fri., Oct. 1, 2010) – 2nd Car Seat
I was going to clean up the baby’s playyard last night but I forgot. It looks like an explosion in a toy factory.
Another trip to REX Hospital today. I had the guy install our new car seat in the back of the Camry (see photo to the left). There is a ton of free space. We were able to position it in the middle of the rear seat, so we now have room for one baby and two adults in the back. Not that we will need all that space, but it’s nice to know that we have it if needed.
My wife sent me the following email at work today:

She’s been sleeping for 1.5 hours with window open. She got fussy in the play-yard, so I let her out and as soon as she got out, she put her head on the floor once, twice. That’s a good sign of tiredness, right? 😉
I am cooking zucchini for her now and going to clean up the play-yard.
Oops – I can hear the chipmunk… Nope… Maybe? We’ll see… Yes… Chipmunk’s up!

As I was playing with little Katie this evening she lunged for the “little people” farm and picked her tummy up off the ground. With this little bit of resistance now airborn she will be able to crawl around like lightning. Soon there won’t be a moments rest…we will be chasing a chipmunk all over the place.
