Day #4031 (Mon., Jan. 18, 2021) – Kinetic Sand
Today is MLK Day here in the US, so the kids have no school, and my wife is off work.
We had an Aldi order today. The lady that delivered the groceries today was horrible. The cucumbers were rotten, for example. It’s too bad that you can’t pick the person who delivers your food. They need to have a rating system like Amazon.
Bobby must have been up early early this morning. Katie said that he was up when she got up. This afternoon he said that he wanted to lie down and my wife found him in bed playing with the iPad. He was upset at being caught and started to cry. In the end, he fell asleep and slept for over three hours.
When he got up he was rather fussy, so we gave him some “Kinetic Sand” to play with (see photo to the left).
We have noticed that Katie comes inside and tells us whenever she sees any cars in or near our driveway. It’s amazing how this whole COVID thing makes you skittish about people. Probably a good thing for now. Who knows how long it will take us all to assimilate back into normal society once all this gets sorted out.
