Day #4053 (Tue., Feb. 9, 2021) – Another Swing Adjustment
The rope on the swing is frayed again. I took it down to get rid of the fray and adjust it some more. This time I tied the “other end” of the rope around the tree that the swing is attached to. In this way, the area of the rope that is rubbing on the other area of the rope is “free”. Let’s see if this lasts longer. At any rate, I found a rope sleeve on Amazon that I ordered. That should help the rope last even longer.
The new package of balloon rockets arrived in the mail (see photo to the left).
Bobby got his report card back. The teachers are very happy with his progress, as are we.
It’s been raining all day and with two kids “cooped up”, drama happens. Bobby hit Katie today…we need to find him an outlet for all his energy. Once the pandemic is over we will have to enroll him in soccer or karate or some other “energy expending” sport.
