Day #4076 (Thu., Mar. 4, 2021) – Swing Down
With the swing down the kids don’t know what to do with themselves. It has quickly become their favorite activity to enjoy outdoors. They don’t hardly even ride their bikes anymore. They did make some mud cakes (see photo to the left). Katie had a story associated with these cakes where we each had magical powers and brought things to put into it. Bobby originally had the super power of being able to run real fast, but when I said that I had the power of “invisibility” he wanted to switch to that instead.
This afternoon the kids watched the Disney movie “The Book of Life”. I gave them each some cherry gummies to munch on as they watched away. Here’s what it says about the movie online: “Manolo, a young man who is torn between fulfilling the expectations of his family and following his heart, embarks on an adventure that spans three fantastic worlds where he must face his greatest fears.” Surprisingly, Bobby sat through the whole movie…which is rare…
