Day #4080 (Mon., Mar. 8, 2021) – Neighbor’s House
My wife and I took Bobby and Maple to the bank today to deposit a check (Katie had a dance class). It’s amazing to see some people still walking around without masks. On the drive home Bobby mentioned that he can’t wait for COVID to be over so that we can have a campfire and make some Smores. We told him that we have a gas stove and can easily make some Smores for him now if he wants.
The photo to the right shows our neighbor’s house today. Jui Lan’s garden is all gone. I think that the cats are the saddest as they used to sit there and look for birds. That’s one reason I would like to keep our house forever. The kids will be able to see the property that they grew up on, the swing that they swang on, and the front yard that they played in.
