Day #4107 (Sun., Apr. 4, 2021) – Easter Egg Hunt
Happy Easter everyone!
We had an Easter Egg “Scavenger Hunt” 2021 for the kids this morning. The photo to the right shows the kids playing the “ring toss” game with their Easter bunny ears on…
Here were the rules:
Easter Egg “Scavenger Hunt” 2021 Rules
1) This is a “co-operation” scavenger hunt.
2) Easter eggs are hidden all around the property.
3) The location of each Easter egg is indicated by a red spot on the map (see other side of this paper).
4) The object of the game is to collect at least one egg of the following colors:
a) Gold
b) Silver
c) Blue
d) Green
e) Purple
5) If you don’t each have an egg of each color, you can trade eggs with each other until you do.
6) Show these eggs to either mom and dad and they will tell you where the SPECIAL PRESENT is!
7) Instructions for the next step are with this SPECIAL PRESENT!

Special Present Instructions
1) Katie, put some rabbit ears on your head.
2) Katie, help Bobby put rabbit ears on his head.
3) Stand a few feet apart. (this is about the length of Maple).
4) Take turns throwing the rings onto the other person’s ears.
5) Once you BOTH have ONE ring of each color (blue, green, pink, purple) on your ears, you:
BOTH WIN!!!!

As with previous years, the kids did not really follow the map. They just ran around and picked up all the eggs like they usually do. Making such a meticulous map for this event seems to be such as waste of time.
Oh, and the Special Present? It was the inflatable bunny ears and they were in the front seat of daddy’s car.
We ordered groceries from Harris Teeter this afternoon. We needed distilled water, and Aldi does not have any. We ordered groceries from HT once last year at this time. It has been Aldi since then.
