Day #4159 (Wed., May 26, 2021) – The Cats Are Back
Katie drew a rabbit today (see photo to the right). It will be part of the Roblox game she is making with Dylan, Carson, & Bobby.
Our cats have gone missing. As it turns out, they have been over at our neighbors house. She was looking for the owner, and didn’t think it was us as we have a dog. Here’s the timeline:
9:24 AM, My wife wrote on the neighborhood listserv: “Good morning, I wonder if any of you have seen my black cats recently?”
9:37 AM, Diantha wrote: “We got a flyer in our mailbox last week about two tuxedos hanging out on someone’s deck. Yours? I don’t remember the address. “
11:37 AM, Nancy wrote: “I saw one of you cats at our house last night around 8. I’ll keep a look out and let you know if there is another sighting.”
1:18 PM My wife wrote: “Hi Nancy, Could you give me a call if you see them? They haven’t been eating their food for a week now, so I am really worried. I’m attaching the picture.”
6:00 PM Nancy wrote: “Yes! I’ll call immediately. I’m sure that you are worried. I can’t tell the two apart but we definitely saw one last night. We typically only see one at a time and frequently with Brownie from 46. I’ll take a look around now – fingers crossed.”
9:00 PM: Bobby is asleep, my wife typed the letter to leave in the neighbors’ mailbox and she and Katie took it over. Saw Robin on the driveway! Talked to a neighbor…
9:35 PM: brought Robin back
9:40 PM: took Maple on a walk, while walking, got a text from the neighbor that Batman is on the porch
9:55 PM: brought Batman back
