Day #4215 (Wed., Jul 21, 2021) – Parent Trap
I had a combined Daddy/Daugher Day (#108) and Daddy/Son Day (#39) with the kids this afternoon. We watched the 1961 movie “Parent Trap” with Hayley Mills. For treats I picked up some “Unicorn Cakes” (see photo to the left), Sour Patch Kids, and Sweet Tarts. Katie loved the movie as it has romance. Bobby not so much. We paused about 1/2 way through as Bobby got restless. We will finish it up tomorrow.
I was talking to Katie about math this evening, and how she could easily make up for lost time at her age. She promptly went to her mother and asked her for a book on the subject. She would like to be able to go to the same school as Dylan and Carson, but these exam placements have already been made.
