Day #4217 (Fri., Jul 23, 2021) – Japan Olympics Start
The Olympics in Japan started this morning. My wife filmed the opening ceremonies. I’m wondering what I’m most interested in…the Olympics, or how the virus will affect them…
I went to Harris-Teeter this morning to pick up some parchment paper. I also picked up some Arctic Bars for the kids as they love them so much. My wife texted me and asked me to pick up some hot dogs and buns, a peranial favorite as far as kids are concerned.
My wife took Maple to the vet this afternoon. Just a checkup…can’t afford too many more $1000+ trips to handle copperhead bites.
This evening I made some oatmeal bread (see photo to the right). Only three ingredients…oatmeal, Greek yogurt, and some baking soda. Not too bad. My wife and Katie were still up just before midnight so I gave some of it to each of them. My wife liked it but Katie was not too impressed.
