Day #4251 (Thu., Aug. 26, 2021) – Online Chinese Classes Shut Down
My wife took the seats of the van out and loaded it up (see photo to the right). She is now ready to take all of the baby and other “stuff” to the consignment sale in Cary. Someone else is going to take the goods out of the van and sell them for her (my wife is giving her 10%…quite the deal). We don’t want to have to deal with this Delta Variant menace in any way.
My classes have been shut down for the rest of August. Apparently there is a new rule in China that prohibits us teaching the kids during the summer months. Moving forward, we will not be able to teach them on the weekends either. It remains to be seen if my students will book some other time during the week.
Apparently the kids at school are eating outside due to the Delta Variant. They take “mask breaks” where they take off the mask and “rest their face” I guess… Too bad that the Delta Variant doesn’t take breaks…
