Day #4316 (Sat., Oct. 30, 2021) – Birthday Planning

Today is the first of four days that the kids will have off at school.
I had a game of “Old Maid” with Bobby this afternoon. When Katie came she had a game with him as well. We got talking about upcoming birthday parties. Katie just wants to hang out with a few of her close friends. I mentioned the possibility of having a “Magic Theme” birthday for Bobby, and he was all over it. I was telling him how I could teach the kids how to perform the magic, and they could perform it in front of their friends. We could also get little magic tricks as party gifts from Amazon. How about a green screen where the kids say they will make something appear, and I utilize a green screen effect to have it appear.
This evening Katie and I got talking about the Squid Game. It’s a new series on Netflix, and it’s all over the place and Katie wanted to know what it was. I told her that in the show people play kid’s games and if they lose they are killed. Come to find out later on, he was surprised it was not real. Well you just can’t go kill people or they will put you in prison for murder.
