Day #4352 (Sun., Dec. 5, 2021) – Holy City On Violin
Today is the 5th day of the Advent Calendar series. Bobby received a “Foxy” plush doll (see photo to the right) and Katie received a Genshin Impact t-shirt. Bobby must have been up early as he was really fussy. As a result, we put him to bed for a short nap. At least he was able to take “Foxy” to bed with him.
When Bobby got up from his nap he enjoyed blowing the leaves in the front yard (i.e.: we have a leaf blower).
We are thinking about what gifts to give the kids for Christmas Day. I happened to see a blog post where we went to “Five & Below” a couple of years ago and got them $90 worth of toys. As the gifts are only $5 each, this made for quite a selection. We don’t think we will do it this year. Do we really need a lot most stuff lying around the house that the kids will pass over to play online video games?
Katie spent the afternoon drawing a human face. Her drawing is really coming along.
This evening I showed my wife and Bobby some renditions of “The Holy City” on violin on YouTube.
