Day #4366 (Sun., Dec. 19, 2021) – Katie Double Cheeseburger
We are effectively on the last week of the Advent Calendar for this year. Everyone agrees that it was quite the hit. Katie thinks that this is a tradition that she will move forward when she has her own children one day.
Rainy and miserable today. I was going to have a Daddy/Daughter Day with Katie, but she got up late this morning so we decided to move it ahead to tomorrow.
We went to Briar Chapel again this evening to see the Christmas display. We stopped off at McDonalds on the way. Bobby got a Happy Meal (which is the norm), but this time Katie tried a double cheeseburger (see is too old for the toy in the Happy Meal now). I got two Big Macs and my wife tried the crispy chicken sandwich.
On the drive home we stopped off at Southern Village to see more Christmas lights. Bobby fell asleep in the car, so my wife had to carry him into his bed.
