Day #4398 (Thu., Jan. 20, 2022) – More Snow!!!
There is more snow on the forecast for later tonight. As such, a lot of today’s events circulated around it…
My wife took Katie to Southpoint Mall this morning shopping. She received a gift card from Arnesa and wanted to spend it before school started. She ended up getting some Sephora cosmetics and some outfits as well. I stayed home with Bobby.
When Katie came home she walked through the living room with a Chick-Fil-A cup, so Bobby naturally wondered where his was. I would make it up to him when I went out for groceries…
Off to Trader Joe’s to especially get milk, but the milk was totally sold out. There was in fact one 1/2 gallon of chocolate milk, but as I approached it another lady scooped it up and just like that, it was gone… I guess everyone is stocking up for the storm. I was able to get meat and snacks and the pineapple and mango drinks (see photo to the right) that Bobby likes so much.
On the way home I stopped off at Burger King to get some fries for Bobby (to make up for the Chick-Fil-A meal that Katie had while at SouthPoint). He’s never had them before, so I thought it would be a nice change. I gave them to him with some of the pineapple juice. He loved them and asked for more, so I ended up making waffle fries in the air fryer.
This evening I showed Bobby how to play some chess. We used the online chess.com site to explore the moves.
