Day #4408 (Sun., Jan. 30, 2022) – M&M Cannister
Bobby and I had Daddy/Son Day #45 today. Since Chick-Fil-A is closed on Sunday we went to McDonalds. Bobby said that he likes McDonalds’ food but is upset that they always get our order wrong. I told him that we would be careful this time. True to form, they tried to give me another order rather than the Cheeseburger Happy Meal that I ordered.
I was thinking I would read Bobby part of the “Dangerous Book for Boys” book, but when I gave him the option on what section to read, he said that he didn’t want to learn anything and just eat… 🙂
While Bobby munched on his food I drove to the “basket chairs” near the Chick-Fil-A on MLK (at Bobby’s request). We had a bit of hide-and-seek, and then drove to the BP for gas. Bobby helped me pump the gas and we went inside for a treat. He picked some M&M’s that were in a cannister.
Bobby was fussy this afternoon, so my wife tried a bath, but in the end put him down for a nap. She woke him up at 4:30 pm so that she would not be up late putting him to bed this evening (like last night). He has in-person school tomorrow, so it should be interesting…
Katie is into watching “What Not to Wear” on tv with her mom these days.
