Day #4410 (Tue., Feb. 1, 2022) – Robert Scott’s Adventures
I went grocery shopping this morning. Tuesday morning is always a good time to go grocery shopping as the shelves are stocked after a busy weekend and there are fewer shoppers. At Trader Joe’s I see that the chocolate marshmallows are back in stock again.
At Harris-Teeter I picked up the counterpart “chocolate” version of the Strawberry Shortcake Ice Cream Bars that Katie likes so much.
They celebrated Chinese New Year at Glenwood today (see photo to the right).
While in line to pick up Bobby I played my first game of WORDLE. It has just been announced that the “New York Times” purchased it, so we’ll see how much longer it is free. I also read the story about Robert Scott’s adventures to the South Pole from the “Dangerous Book For Boys”. I talked to Bobby about it on the drive home.
Once we got home I gave Bobby some Strawberry Lemonade… He said that it was his new favorite drink!
Bobby told me that he has a new friend in school. His name is Atticus and he helps him out in class (pretty much like Margaret used to help Bobby out when he was in her class).
Katie told me that she is getting to go see a play in her school. Something about going to see it with her first period teacher, but it was a bit too “vague” to make out what was going on…
