Day #4446 (Wed., Mar. 9, 2022) – Phillips Band(s) Performance

I was able to take Bobby to school this morning but my wife didn’t see my text so she took him instead.

Katie was up early.  She even made her bed before going to school this morning.

I picked Bobby up at Glenwood at 2:30 pm this afternoon.  I had two booster seats in the back seat of my Camry as the plan was to take Cal home with me for a playdate, but that was not to be.  Cal didn’t want to get into the car, and there was a mix up in the messaging when his father called the school saying it was okay.  The end result was that I took Bobby home with me alone.  Cal’s dad went and got him and dropped him off at our house.  He was still upset and uncomfortable about the whole experience, so Bobby went over to his house to play instead.

This evening there was a performance of a jazz band and the 6th grade band at Katie’s school (see photo to the left).  My wife took her and Bobby to see them this evening.

There are four viola’s in the orchestra, and Katie is one of them.  I told her how important it was to learn how to read music, but she is not as eager to do this as she is to play by ear.
