The photo to the left shows the new type of dog treats that I have been picking up for Maple as of late.
I took Bobby to school this morning. He has Mr. Yeong today, who only speaks in Chinese, so Bobby is not looking forward to that. When I got home I was tired so I went to bed for a long nap…pollen season is hear I fear…
Katie tested negative for COVID today!
I picked Bobby up at Glenwood at 2:30 pm this afternoon. He told me that they had cheese bread for lunch. He also told me that they have a new playground with benches. A lot of kids eat there.
When we got home Bobby wanted me to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for him. He washed it down with some chocolate milk. When he was done he wanted another peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but this time he wanted it cut into four little triangles, which I was happy to do for him.
I baked a large pretzel for Katie so that it would be ready for her when she got home from school.
My wife spent a great deal of time this afternoon interviewing potential principals for Katie’s school. They asked parents if they wanted to be on the selection committee, and my wife was one of the few who filled out an application.
This evening my wife and I talked to Katie about her woes at schools. She has a number of fair-weather friends and we’ve been trying to encourage her to step outside of her current friend group. I told her that I’m sure that in a school as large as Glenwood there is at least one girl who is home tonight feeling exactly as she does and would love to have a friend such as her.
