Day #4502 (Wed., May. 4, 2022) – Katie’s Orchestra

Bobby was well enough to go back to school today.  I was up early and ready to take him, but when Bobby got up he said that he was still tired and so he went back to bed.  By the time he got up I was back to bed so my wife took him to school later in the day.

When I picked Bobby up this afternoon he said all the kids cheered for him in Miss Zayad’s class when he returned to class as they were so happy to see him. He mentioned that he had a sunbutter and grape jelly sandwich for lunch.  In terms of fruit options he mentioned that his preferences are: banana, orange, and apple, in this order.

Bobby also mentioned that another girl in his class likes him.  Her name is Lucia but they call her Lucy.

When we got home Bobby expressed an interest in making applesauce, so I showed him how.  I cut up an apple, put it into a zip lock bag, and we went outside to hit it with a hammer.  When he tasted it he said that he liked it.

The Phillips Middle School orchestra gave us a performance this evening (see photo to the right).  We took two cars.  After the performance I took Bobby home as it was his bedtime.  My wife took Katie to Yopop as this is where the orchestra goes to hang out after a performance.
