Day #4505 (Sat., May. 7, 2022) – Visualization

The kids had viola/violin class this morning.  The kids were well behaved, for the most part, which means they got to play on their computers.  That’s great as Dylan and the gang called quite a bit this weekend.

I uploaded Katie’s script, “Black Cat” onto the ScriptMother website.  They give honest reviews from peers, but it’s mostly for adults so I am not sure how accepting they will be of a young girl’s script…  Oh well, let’s see…

I saw the movie “Jim & Andy” this afternoon which talked about how Jim Carey became Andy Kaufman for the move he was doing about him.  In this movie Jim Carey mentioned all the visualization techniques he had done.  For example, when he was close to broke, he wrote himself a check for $10 million and dated it in the future to 1995.  By the time this date rolled around, he got that money for the movies he was doing.  I’m going to implement these strategies with Katie.

It was raining like mad this afternoon, so I delayed going to Trader Joe’s till this evening.  While there I picked up some Tiramisu (see photo to the right) for my wife as tomorrow is Mother’s Day and Monday is her birthday.
