Day #4508 (Tue., May. 10, 2022) – Picking Up & Dropping Off

With only the van since the Camry is in the shop, I took both kids to school this morning.  First Bobby, then I came home and picked up Katie and took her to school.  Katie and I talked about visualization on the way.

I got a text from Lloyd’s Tire this morning and it turns out the Camry is also going to need a master cylinder in order to have the brakes work properly.  Total cost $1298, and although I could come by this afternoon and pick it up, things were so hectic that we opted to go get it after we picked up the kids.

So, this afternoon I went to pick up Bobby and then Katie.  I arrived around 1:55 pm to pick up Bobby so I was in the lot off of the street (see photo to the left).  Once both kids were home safe and sound, we went to Lloyd’s Tire to pick up the Camry.  It sure felt good to have my “wheels” under me again.

This afternoon, fresh with “new wheels”, I went to Harris-Teeter to get some supplies.  The frozen pops were on sale (see photo to the right), so I made sure to pick up some for the kids.

This evening there was a school board meeting in Hillsborough, so my wife went to that while I tended to the kids.  Bobby was pretty good and went to bed around 7:45 pm.  I was so tired that I slept next to him.

Katie and I did our second day of visualization this evening.  We elaborated on the scenes that we played in our mind yesterday.  Katie met a new friend today, Henry, so we worked that into her visualization script.
