Day #4515 (Tue., May. 17, 2022) – Wedding Anniversary
The kids online class today as it’s voting day here in North Carolina and they were using the schools as voting locations. Seemed a bit like 2020 & 2021 all over again in many ways.
It’s also our wedding anniversary, so we decided that we would get take-out from Cholanad on Franklin street (see photo to the left). I ordered two dosas online (i.e.: Masala and Spring Vegetables) and drove down to pick it up. They moved next door to the location where Mellow Mushroom used to be back in April of 2020. I was a bit disappointed in the meal in that the dosa didn’t have the crispy crust that we used to get when we dined inside, but oh well, it was tasty none-the-less. Both kids tried it but were not impressed.
The pool is up! The kids enjoyed splashing about it in this afternoon. Everett put both a hot & cold spigot outside so they were able to use it as soon as it was full. They had a blast. In many ways they enjoy this over going to the public pool as they can enjoy their various inflatable toys.
