I drove Bobby to school this morning in what will effectively be his last day in grade #1. He was quite excited…to have this be the last day of school! It will be a short day as I need to pick him up again in 3 hours, at 10:40 am.
Katie is still not the best, but decided to go to school anyway. She too will have only a 1/2 day, and this is her last day of grade 6.
While the kids were away my wife and I tried out the RC dune buggies (see photo to the right) in a race outside. Why the secrecy? We want to keep them secret and unveil them when we are on vacation in Ocracoke.
Both Katie and I had a doctor’s appointment this afternoon to help resolve this “virus” thing. The main reason we wanted to go today is that once we are on Ocracoke, medical services will be limited. The doctor game me some “prednisone” and Katie’s strep test came back as negative.
The public hearings of the January 6th attack was on all the television networks this evening. This was the first televised hearing as I guess there will be 3 more ending at the end of June.
