Day #4579 (Wed., July 20, 2022) – WalMart Groceries
We’re thinking of getting a Cotton Candy Machine as they are only $49 on Amazon. I think this model just came out… It has great reviews and when I looked last year the cheapest machine that had good reviews was $249. Another fun activity that we can do with the kids this summer.
I’m in need of a journal as Katie and Bobby and I are going to be going around various places and drawing what we see. I would normally go to the Dollar Store, but everything there is no longer a dollar, so I ended up at WalMart.
At WalMart I found a journal, but I also picked up a number of groceries. They had a great deal on donuts, so I picked them up. They were gone by the end of the day…most of us agree that they taste better than Harris-Teeter and even Dunkin Donuts for some reason. I also got a HUGE watermelon (see photo to the left). Katie accidentally dropped it, and it cracked, so we will need to eat it tomorrow.
After WalMart I went to Trader Joe’s for more supplies. The lady who was checking me out said that she thinks the Aldi next door is opening up at the start of August.
This kids are all excited for tomorrow as their “Switch” is coming.
