Day #4595 (Fri., Aug. 5, 2022) – Froggy!!!
Katie had her voice lesson with Meredith across the road this morning. These lessons keep getting longer as I think they get along really well together.
When Katie got home there was a debate on whether to go to the Clark pool today. I almost went, but am still recovering from the “Shingles Vaccine” (almost there). In the end, mom, Katie and Bobby went. We need to enjoy the Clark pool while we can as summer will soon be over.
Katie’s tadpoles have grown into frogs! Well, just one for now (see photo to the left). You can see other little things swirling around in their water. Unfortunately this is mosquito larvae.
I went to Aldi in Chapel Hill this afternoon for the first time. Parking is a problem as there are a lot of popular stores in this area. They have got a great cheese pizza for only $6. I got some oat milk for my coffee and some more potatoes. My wife wanted me to pick up some Graham Crackers and meat.
Katie and Bobby and I played with the Legos this afternoon. It’s difficult as we have to go through all our various boxes in order to find specific pieces. We looked up a video on the best way to store Legos. The issue now is, sorting them into containers to begin with!
