Day #4623 (Fri., Sept. 2, 2022) – Clark Pool Finale

I took Bobby to Glenwood this morning.  He has expressed an interest in parking at the bank and then walking to school.  I asked him if he would like to take the bus to school.  He said maybe once, just for the experience.

Ethan’s mom Ali checked the kids out at lunch today, so that’s one thing I didn’t need to do today.  Monday is Labor Day, so it will be my turn to check them out on Tuesday.

I picked up Bobby this afternoon and we talked about the “Lunchables” item that I picked up at Aldi the other day (see photo to the right).  It’s basically a lunch in a box, including a drink and dessert.  He said that he liked everything in it except for the cheese.  I’m not sure why, but Bobby says that he doesn’t like cheese anymore.  Funny, that is one thing that I thought almost every kid liked.

This afternoon the whole family went to the Clark Pool at 4 pm this afternoon.  This might be the last time we will be able to go this year, in fact, forever…  Time will tell.  We played the same “Shark & Minnows” (a take off of Marco Polo).  The kids renamed it “Rick Ashley”… 🙂

Katie has been talking to me about Jay, a student in her class.  He obviously likes her, and has been badmouthing Kevin, another one of her boy friends.  Kevin is a good boy, and they play games together.  He’s a good student and plays the violin as well.
