Day #4658 (Fri., Oct. 7, 2022) – Paxlovid Tablets

This is Bobby’s first day back at school!  He was kinda excited about going to school today to see his friends.  He was also excited about being able to eat in the cafeteria today.  Since he’s already had COVID, there is no longer a need for him to eat lunch on the picnic table outside the school with Ethan.  Alas, they mixed things up and had pizza instead.

I felt good enough to take Bobby to school this morning and since my wife is still not 100% due to COVID, I took Katie to school as well.  When I got home I went to bed for a nap.  Well, about half way through the nap I started to feel kind of strange. I felt dizzy and foggy and very strange (oh I already said that).

When the time came to pick up Bobby I asked my wife is she could do it.  She did, both Katie and Bobby in fact, and made me an appointment to see the doctor.  So, after picking the kids up, we went to see the doctor just before 5 pm…

The doctor ran her COVID test on me and although the test came back negative, she felt confident that I had COVID, so she prescribed me some Paxlovid (see photo to the left).  I took my first dose, three tablets, at 6:30 pm this evening.

On a “Non-COVID” related theme, the kids went for a walk to the creek and down around the trail and back to our house today.  Bobby asked Katie to go on this walk today.  Katie also went across the street for her singing lesson with Miss Meredith.
