Day #4687 (Sat., Nov. 5, 2022) – JJ’s Birthday

My wife took the kids to their viola/violin class this morning.  Katie accompanied all the violin players on the viola.  They went to Subway afterwards.

While the family was away I went through the boxes in the living room, throwing out stuff that we no longer need.  I did find the 8mm video tape I took way back in 2003 of what Hwy #55 looked like back then.

My wife took Katie to JJ’s birthday party this afternoon.  He’s a boy in Bobby’s class.

Later this afternoon the kids and I talked about busking.  I suggested to Bobby that he just tap the violin with the bow when he doesn’t know a song, like the Cotton Pickin Kids do.  In this way he can accompany Katie when they are busking without even knowing the song.  He was very excited when I told him that my wife and I had agreed he could keep 10% of the money he earns and only 90% will go to paying off his Roblox bill.  He was very excited about this.

I went to Aldi for food this evening.  My wife asked me to pick up 2 gallons of milk and I picked up some M&M’s for the flashlight I bought Bobby the other day (see photo to the right).

I also stopped off at the Dollar Store where I picked up a set of Christmas antlers and a Santa hat for the kids when they go busking.  The “Kipo’s Greek Taverna” restaurant near Aldi looks like a great place to go busking.  A lot of elderly people leaving this evening after enjoying a delicious meal.  There is only one exit, so they have to pass by the kids while they are busking.
