There was no “Red Wave” of Republican wins last night like many had projected. They are saying that the biggest loser last night was Trump as a lot of the candidates he was campaigning for lost. With the election over the kids are back to school today.
I went to Harris-Teeter this morning and picked up some Minute Maid pops, very similar to the ones that I pick up at Whole Foods that Katie loves so much.
Katie is going to the Charlotte area in May on a band trip. I guess the celebration after the performance is Carowinds, an amusement park. She is not really looking forward to the trip, but since there are so few viola players in the orchestra there is no way she cannot go.
I picked up Bobby this afternoon and he proudly proclaimed that he tied his shoes today. He showed me how he tied them when we got home (see photo to the right). I had to help him a bit, but he did get it. He told me that they had Strawberry Parfait for lunch today, which in his eyes is second only to a Mango Parfait.
Later this evening Katie, Bobby, and I went outside to play some soccer. We then went back into the house where we had a game of “Cashflow For Kids”.
