Day #4711 (Tue., Nov. 29, 2022) – Guided Meditation

Bobby was up at 5 am this morning!  He had four slices of pizza for breakfast, and we rushed out the door at 7:30 am.  I had to make sure I didn’t slow down as we were in the process of being late.  Luckily we weren’t, but there is no reason to cut it this close, especially when the boy was up at 5 am!

Katie is still sick today, so no school for her.  Having her home makes it more difficult for my wife and I to coordinate what will go into the Advent calendars.  We got together later this evening to “outline” what we will put into the various slots.

I made some “Donut Sticks” from Aldi in the oven this afternoon (see photo to the left).  I added a cup of cream for moistness and baked them in the oven for a bit longer.  They turned out pretty good.  The kids loved them!

I picked Bobby up after school today.  He told me that they switched tables yesterday.  Emily and Rosie are now the two people who sit at his table in Mrs. Washington’s class.

I went to Walgreens this evening to pick up the ear drops for Bobby.  He spent the evening lying on his side, ear drops in his ear, watching his current favorite TV show, “The Deep”.

When Bobby went to bed, Katie, my wife, and I had our second TM session.  Maple was bothering us yesterday so this evening my wife gave her a bone to keep her occupied.  I never knew that a dog could make so much noise when the ate.  My wife and Katie were complaining that the guy talking on the guided meditation was bothering them, so I found another meditation in which there is only silence.  We will try it out tomorrow evening.
