Day #4716 (Sun., Dec. 4, 2022) – South Point Mall
My wife took the kids out to South Point Mall this morning. She had to return some clothes at a couple of the stores, so the kids went along to pick out some additional clothes for school. Katie got more than Bobby, but Bobby found some clothes items as well (see photo to the left).
While at the mall Bobby got a chance to try out the new playground area that they developed after they tore down the old one just outside of JC Penney. This new area is at the other end of the mall and opened just before COVID hit. Bobby loved it, and went back twice.
For lunch today the kids had Subway sandwiches while my wife had Thai food at the food course. Funny, they have all the options that a food court has to offer and they still pick up Subway subs.
When they got home this afternoon it was Day #4 of the Advent Calendars. Katie got another sweater and Bobby got an axe and fire extinguisher to go with the Roblox Fireman he got on Day #1.
This evening Bobby and I had quite a few rounds of Hide & Seek inside the house with flashlights and the lights off. I told him that we should change it up so that he puts pillows down and a blanket over them, and I have to figure out if it is a decoy, or really him, and we tried this right after he had his evening bath.
I found a “Hide & Seek” game on eBay that was made back in the 1960s. It cost close to $20 with shipping, but he’s so much into “Hide & Seek” that if he likes it, it will be well worth it. I’ll put it in one of the days of the Advent Calendar.
