Day #4722 (Sat., Dec. 10, 2022) – Bug Sucker
Today is Day #10 of the Advent Calendar. Bobby received a Roblox policeman and Katie received a pink cell phone case.
I was thinking that the kids might want to go busking today, but they just wanted to chill. It has been a tough week at school for Katie.
I was going through of my belongings and figuring out what to shred and what to keep and what to throw away. I came across the “Bug Sucker” that I picked up while I was in Vegas back in 1999 (see photo to the left). If you look closely you can see a bug stuck inside the sucker material. I was never planning to eat it, but more as a conversational piece. It did bring up quite the conversation when I showed it to the family… 🙂
Bobby loves to play hide & seek with a flashlight with daddy. He has found quite a few good hiding places in his bedroom and living room. He dresses up in camouflage and is hard to see when you are poking around with a flashlight in the dark!
Here are the things that Bobby is eating as of late… Chocolate brownies and Christmas tree cakes. Frozen cheese/egg pita (don’t mention to him that it contains eggs). Katie is back to loving dumplings again. Looks like the kid’s are getting their taste buds back!
Katie drew a walk-in closet this evening. She said she dreams of having one in her own house one day.
