Day #4730 (Sun., Dec. 18, 2022) – Bobby Swims!

Bobby has been asking for the past few days to go to Homestead Pool for a swim, so I took him this afternoon.  He swam and swam and swam for well over an hour (see photo to the left).  When he came to me and said that he was hungry and wanted to go home, I started to leave, and he said that he wanted to swim some more.  He sure missed his swimming, but he got plenty in today!  Katie wanted to go at first, but decided to stay home to help mom clean up the basement room that we are going to rent out (hopefully).

So our potential renter  will be arriving tomorrow.  My wife took the curtains down from the main bathroom to the bathroom downstairs.  We might have to get a new fridge, and Adan will be coming at the start of the new year to put the laminate flooring down.  We’ll have to see how our potential new renter likes the place when she arrives tomorrow, but if not, we always have the option to rent it out to a travelling nurse.  We’ll see what happens.

This afternoon Bobby and I Googled “Best Paper Airplane” and proceeded to make a couple of the designs that came up.  They flew okay, but the design that Mr. Yang showed Bobby on Thursday seems to be holding up as one of the best.

This evening we were out of milk so I took Katie to Harris-Teeter for milk, and other supplies.  I wanted Katie to come so that she could pick out some foods that she would like.  She choose a chicken pot pie, come croissants, and French bread.
