Day #4734 (Thu., Dec. 22, 2022) – Canadian Passport
Arnesa came over today to get some clothes and belongings. She brought Ayra and Ansar with her, and they had a great time with Bobby. I gave Ansar a couple of dog biscuits so he could feed Maple and Ginger.
Today Bobby enjoyed putting together the Lego Fox that Brin game him for Christmas (see photo to the right).
I received my Canadian Passport via Fed Ex today! Someone had to be home to sign for the package. We were thinking that it was going to take weeks to get back, but once they received the application it only took a couple of weeks. The hard part was assembling all the various documents like a birth certificate and guarantor.
I called up Simply Safe this afternoon after I installed the 4G module that they sent me. It took quite a while to set up, but we’re good to go now. They put in an order for rechargeable batteries for the base station, and they will arrive next Tuesday.
My wife is looking for a new fridge for our “upcoming” basement apartment. She got a Christmas bonus check today, so that money will come in handy.
