Day #4757 (Sat., Jan. 14, 2023) – Nocturnal Zoo

The kids had viola/violin class this morning.  They stopped off at Walgreens afterwards where Bobby got his COVID booster.  While there he picked up a Bakugan figure.  Remember those (see photo to the right).  The kids on the “Ninja Kids” YouTube channel played with them, and this is where I first heard about them.  Not sure why they have made a reaccurance.

My wife packed up the van with more boxes of toys this afternoon.  She will be taking them to the South Point Mall area tomorrow for tagging.  From there they will go to the consignment sale where we will hopefully get a few $ out of them.  The best thing is to just get them out of the house and clear up the clutter.

When they got back Katie proceeded to work on her implementation of a “Nocturnal Zoo” in the software program she has been working in.  Bobby got the iPad from his mother and is researching the various types of nocturnal animals, which Katie will then add to her “Nocturnal Zoo” with the proper enclosure and habitat that they need.

The kids and I played a few more rounds of “Old Maid” this evening.  Bobby and Katie spent more time teasing each other and fooling around, but it was all in jest.  As they used to say in the school newspaper, “A good time was had by all”…
