Day #4806 (Sat., Mar. 4, 2023) – Sadrack’s Birthday Party!
I was up into the “wee hours” this morning evaluating various flooring options for the basement as well as the traveling nurses website. We are hoping to rent out our downstairs apartment once it is finished.
I drove Bobby to Sadrack’s Birthday Party this afternoon at 2 pm. It was close, just across from Phillips school. Sadrack is a boy that Bobby plays with at Spence’s Farm. He, Sadrack, Lucia, and Charlotte make up a “foursome”. They had a bouncy house at the party (see photo to the right). They requested no presents, but Bobby made a birthday card. The gave us the option to stay or leave, so I left to go to Walmart and check out their laminate flooring options. I came back to pick up Bobby at 4 pm.
While we were away my wife and Katie cleaned up the place. My wife cleaned up the boxes in the hallway, and Katie folded clothes.
When we got home Bobby was exhausted. We were going to continue to watch “Spiderman 2” with Doctor Octopus, but it is no longer offered for free on our streaming services. Bobby’s next option was “Wakanda Forever”, which is the recently released Black Panther movie, so we watched that on Disney+.
This evening Katie was telling me that she learned how to wash her hair by herself. Usually her mother washes it for her.
