It is very cold here today. Nonetheless, my wife took her outside to get some fresh air. They spent 45 minutes outside.
My wife was folding laundry and little Katie was in the playyard playing with the blinds. She eventually managed to open the blinds so she could peek through the window.
The photo to the right shows a toy that our friends from Charlotte gave little Katie. It is a “Little People” Christmas scene, and when you push the yellow star on top of the Christmas tree down, it will play various melodies. My wife and I were remarking on the good quality of the music that is coming out of the tree. Some of little Katie’s toys, like the Mozart Magic Cube, are producing good quality music. Others are not that great.
When I got home from work little Katie was sleeping. This usually means that she will be well rested this evening when she gets up and we will not need to take her out for a drive.
WHAT I LEARNED TODAY
