Day #4843 (Mon., Apr. 10, 2023) – Kid’s Day Off!
We’re back in Chapel Hill now! We decided to let the kids both have the day off of school after such a long trip, and the “cold or whatever” we got, and the jet lag and such. They rested up and played on their iPad’s for most of the day.
I went to Aldi this afternoon to pick up supplies as our fridge was bare! My wife spent the morning cleaning up the fridge so there was even more space. I picked up a chocolate cake as a special treat!
Maple is so happy to have us all home again. It’s business as normal as far as she is concerned. Protecting the home by sleeping around the house in various locations, asking everyone to play ball with her, sleeping a lot, and licking her “a**”. Fun times!
