Day #4850 (Mon., Apr. 17, 2023) – “Scrubbed” Starship Launch
I drove Bobby to Glenwood this morning and we talked about the “Starship Launch” which is to take place at 9 am EST this morning. We talked about how Bobby might be able to go to Mars one day, and that Elon Musk was also hoping to launch the Starship so that it could deploy more Starlink satellites than the Falcon Heavy. As it turns out they had some sort of a leak so they scrubbed the launch mission today. Maybe tomorrow?
I’m feeling a bit better today… I’m not sure if the pollen count is going down as the “season is over” or for some other reason. I picked up Bobby at Glenwood this afternoon (there were problems with the buses) and had a blueberry muffin and drinkable yogurt waiting for him when he got into the back seat. He didn’t want to have any of the nachos I made for him when we got home though. He told me that they did dance in gym class today.
I was thinking of taking Katie and Bobby to horseback riding class but I was feeling tired. Looks like I’m not 100% clear of the pollen issue just yet. My wife took them. They did a bit of jumping, but the horses are still recovering from their colds.
