Day #4852 (Wed., Apr. 19, 2023) – Strawberry Picking
Both kids were not feeling well this morning so they are home sick.
When they started to feel better my wife took them strawberry picking (see photo to the left).
We sent Bobby outside to play with Maple later today and Bobby was playing with his various “items from the woods” on the patio with Maple staring at me outside the door with a tennis ball in her mouth. Unsuccessful attempt to get the kids to play with the dog. We were thinking that if we did move to a farm at one point we would get some animals for the kids, but I don’t think that they would take care of them. They would just pass them all by on the way to the iPad…
Tesla reported earnings after the bell today. The stock is down after hours because the margins are low, but they have justified this in that they plan to sell Tesla owners things like autonomous driving, charging subscriptions, etc. in the future.
When my wife was putting Bobby to bed this evening he asked her if he would get a “Gold Digger Wife” when he got married… Where do they get this stuff from?
I learned on the news this evening that Netflix will no longer be sending out CD’s in those little red envelopes anymore. I didn’t realize that they were still doing this! My wife and I talked to Katie about how this subscription model used to work before the day of streaming…
