Day #4874 (Thu., May 11, 2023) – Baby Chicks
Katie is not feeling well this morning. My wife contacted the school nurse and she said that there is a lot of stomach viruses going around. Katie mentioned last night that quite a few people were missing in class yesterday, so add her to the list today.
My wife and Katie are cleaning up the area in front of our house (see photo to the left). They put up a couple of pots of flowers today (see photo to the left) on the pillars that hold up the carport.
I picked up Bobby this evening. He was up in the barn with the rabbits so I sat down on the picnic tables and waited for him to come down. I knew he would be there shortly after 6 pm as the staff is eager to leave once quitting time arrives. Bobby told me that the have new baby chicks now. I explained to him how their down will eventually fall off and they will grow feathers.
Bobby mentioned how he had pizza bagels for lunch today. He said that he would be open to trying them if I got them from the store, so add this one more item to the food list.
