Day #349 (Sat., Dec. 18, 2010) – Walking When Assisted
My wife and I decided to go out to Hillsborough for a drive today. We have never seen it in winter and thought that little Katie might like the Christmas decorations.
Our initial idea was that we would eat at the Mayflower Restaurant. This was not to be. It closed down sometime in the summer or fall…sometime after we were there with my mother-in-law.
On the way home we picked up a bucket of KFC (grilled mind you). While we waited for it to be cooked my wife started to hold little Katie by the hands and walk her around the dining area. She loved it…in fact she loved it so much she didn’t want to stop. If she keeps this up it’s going to be hard on our backs, so my wife is looking for a device to help us out.
My wife found this device online to help us assist little Katie when she walks. Let’s hope it arrives before we leave for Canada on Friday…
